Frozentree Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Maegor as hand (he was hand fist, later became king after death of his brother) did things which the king would never dare (mostly atrocious brutal acts for the good of realm, like giving money for murdering members of the Faith military), so yes, the hand has some power of his own.I think the Hand can do or command whatever he wants unless the king says otherwise. A second-in-command for all purposes. Also note, that if the king is not please by the Hand, he can replace him anytime, so it is the Hand's best interest to do whatever the king wants if he wishes to keep his post Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
