total1402
He seemed completely beaten and dejected when he found out Dany married Hidzhar. Tyrion rescues him and when he dons armour he is described as a changed man. But I couldn't understand what had brought about this change. The whole point was that his captivity doesn't break him its him realizing he can't get Dany. Obviously, we as the reader know that its likely that Hidzhar tried to kill Dany with the locusts as Barristan surmises; but Jorah has no way of knowing this surely. So, he would still be under the presumption that Dany is married and this is set in stone. So hes got no reason to assume he has more chance than before to uplift his mood.Any thoughts on why this is?Only two I can think of is-Jorah intends to kill Hidzhar. (the Vic method). His description with the demon brand in armor as having a dread aspect feels indicative towards his dark intentions.Jorah has gotton over Dany and just wants to help her as a knight n friend. bloodsteel bitterraven
He's probably thinking: "I think I'll stick with the dwarf. He seems to know what he's doing."The reason he looks a different man with armor is because, he's a knight.

total1402
Nah, Barristan first. He said he would have that talk with Dany about her father. Classic Ned Stark promise to Jon about his parents. He is coffin riding a horse atm.Jorah won't die yet. It wouldn't make sense for him to die since he already "died" once for Dany when she exiled him; she severed all ties and thought she'd seen the last of him. Killing him before they meet again wouldn't add much to that. But yes, he is dead man walking.Killing both at the battle of Mereen would only end up lessening the impact of either one. Each one should happen sperately on its own merits.
