ASOIAF best series ever
Does anyone if there is a calendar in the world or just westeros. Or even what year the charcters in the book consider it to be?
The Dornishman's Wife
Did the author say somewhere they had 12 months? I can't remember properly, but they definitely have years. They mark it by years since Aegons Landing (AL).Yes, he did ("twelve moon turns to a year, as on earth"). Their years are as long as ours and are the time the planet takes for one revolution around the sun. By the way, the Aegon's Landing AL stuff is going to be replaced by Aegon's Conquest AC I hear. The dates we know won't change, but they'll mean something slightly different.
