Did the TV series change your opinion of any characters?

In the books, most of the non-POV female characters needed a little fleshing out. The HBO series obliged ten-fold. Now the female characters completely make the show.

True, but the medium is completely different. Non-POV female characters are usually rather one-dimensional when seen from the POV of male characters and the fact they are not fleshed out is a commentary on those male POVs, I think. That's a testament to Martin's skill, rather than a shortcoming, IMO.
