Senelle

Here is a passage from Areo Hotah's chapter.

"What of Sarella? She is a woman grown, almost twenty?"

"Unless she returns to Dorne, there's naught I can do about Sarella save pray she shows better sense than her sisters. Leave her to her...game..."

Than Cersei's chapter is next in she has a dream..."Cersei cried out, but it was only Senelle."

Could Serella be Senelle. Do you think Doran had Senella work her way into Cersei's staff of hand maidens to get a better handle on that state of the kingdom?

Yes, the widow's peak was inherited from her father Oberyn, her talent with the bow from her mother who is a Far Islander and described as a ship's captain. Despite her "picture" in the wiki, Sarella is described as being "as black as teak". Her nickname among fellow apprentices is "The Sphinx", because he/she is somewhat mysterious, perhaps also a reference to Oscar Wilde "What are women? Sphinxes without secrets", obviously Sarella/Arella's secret is precisely that she is a woman... Since women cannot become maesters, as is stated in a AFfC "the sphinx is the riddle, not the riddler".

Sarella/Arellas is following in her father's footsteps by studying for her maesters chain in Old Town. We are told that Oberyn himself made three links, I wonder which they were? Pretty sure one was for magic, another for medicine perhaps, since he was a notorious poisoner...

Also, the description of Alleras is almost women-like. Plus the mention of Nymeria that Sarella loves Oldtown (almost as much as Obara hates it).

Oberyn himself made 6 link, btw :) not three. Sarella has three now, and she had been at the Citadel for a year. That shows she's an extraordinary student (the really clever once gain 3 links a year, the average student 1 link a year, and the students who aren't very good take longer to forge a link). Looking closely at Oberyn's timeline of life (he went to the Citadel after his exile, and left to go fight in the disputed lands afterwards, IIRC), there isn't much room for Oberyn to be at the Citadel. But should he have been an exceptional student (like Sarella/Alleras) he would have been there about 2 years, which would fit.
