I've thought up a fun little game that exploits this fact:A person says two seeming unrelated names from ASoIaF. Alester Florent is grandfather of Sam and great-grandfather of Marg. There is no proof that Rhea is Alerie's mother. Rhea is Leyton's fourth wife, and Alerie is Leyton's fourth child, old enough to have adult children. 6 children come after Alerie.
