Lyanna Stark. Life in a southron world.

Recommended Posts

Sansa, considered naive and an innocent abroad got me thinking about if Rhaegar has married Lyanna (no complaining from the seven) would this noble woman from the north really ever of felt at home in Kings Landing? Would the every day of Kings Landing just bring this willful spirited women down? And what if Cersei became one of her ladies-in-waiting! The North & South really do like to keep their worlds separate all the whispering would (probably) of lead to discord in the seven kingdoms. Would Rhaegar rebuild Summerhall or debunk to Dragonstone to keep everyone happy, Would the two wives feel comfortable with their new reality? Jon Snow would be more his mothers son than Targaryen and if Elia's children grew to look like Rhaegar as they came of age would Jon like Brynden Rivers and Aemon before him still of chosen the black to avoid getting caught up in plots within plots. Putting him right where he was any way in the books. Fates course correction still leading to the same out come? This time perhaps without the knife in his back.

I'm not really sure what you're asking, but I don't think Lyanna's personality is reflective of 'the north.' Ned suggested that Rickard would not have let her wield a sword, and if you believe Lyanna is the KotLT, she had to disguise herself in order to take action. Aside from the women of Bear Island, I don't think the north really has a strong tradition of women warriors.

Also, Cersei is a southerner and might also be considered willful, spirited, and tempermental.
