Mark Mylod

Jeremy Podeswa

Alan Taylor

Matt Shakman

-----

Mark Mylod directed "No One" which was the worst episode this year. Ugh.

One glaring omission from this list is Miguel Sapochnik.

I'm glad to see Alan Taylor back though.

Yeah I read this list and was horrified to see Mark Mylod on it. Really worrying. Miguel missing is realllllllly disappointing. :(

Sapochnik has had the good fortune of directing some of the most popular episodes, but I'd honestly take Nutter or Graves over him in a heart beat. I think he's good but a little overrated. Graves and Nutter's action scenes are so coherent, you never lose perspective of what's going on and where. If people are blaming Mylod for some of the writing in No One, they should consider blaming Sapochnik for some of the stuff in the final two episodes as well (and that horrid theme he convinced Ramin to write for the King's Landing sequence in 6x10).
