alittlebirdallgrownup
Do we know the language they speak in Asshai or has that yet to be revealed. I'm sure Valyrian and Ghiscari float around the population but i'm pretty sure that Asshai would have its own language.
TyrionsFlagon
Agreed. I think it'd be different from any other language. Actually, because Asshai seems to be some far off place that not too many people go to, I bet that there's listen Ghiscari of Valyrian influence in the language. Tony Soprano
Actually, we already know that Asshai has it's own language. Mirri Maz Duur spoke ( or sang, rather ) in the language of Asshai when she was performing the ritual in Drogo's tent. We've also learned from Davos' POV that when Melisandre was burning the Seven on Dragonstone ( and several times before ), she prayed to R'hllor once in the Common Tongue, once in High Valyrian and Once in the speech of Asshai. But, we don't know if it's just refered to as the Asshai language, or if it has another official name.
TheMysteriousOne
The people of Asshai are called the Asshai'i, so maybe their language is called Asshai'i.
DaeneryStormBorn
I imagine asshai as Old India before it was taken by brits.

Seldasher
dunno i get a far east feeling about Asshai (chinese/japanes/korean with a touch of the indian subcontinent) sort of architecture and culture, but this is all guesswork anyway nothing official.
