  1. Lol that's one way of going about it. Or always make your team the 1 pointer so you don't lose twice. We'll call that "The Colts Way."
  2. Yeah this got me last year too. Pick your games and rank them in order of most confident to least confident. So for example, put the highest number on either the Pats or the team playing the Colts and vice versa with the lowest.
  3. Great. Now we’ve got the required 6 votes. Push this measure through before Jace slides in here with her adult diapers and tries to filibuster this thing.
  4. Weak, I was all excited when I saw my score (117) only to realize that multiple people finished ahead of me. CURSE YOU ANDY DALTON!!!
  5. This week is odd. Bad teams are playing bad teams, OK teams are playing OK teams and good teams are playing good teams. There aren’t many freebies.
  6. It's how you notify people you're mentioning them. Type @ and then their name, @grozeng. For instance, @Manhole Eunuchsbane @Jaxom 1974
  7. Apologies. Sign Watson at $9, 3 years and Parker at $19, 3 years. Everyone else gets a 1 year rental deal, unless someone wants to trade for one of them before the deals become locked in. Also, you might want to start @ing people so they know you’re looking for them.
  8. We wanted to get 6 votes, but since Jace foolishly brought up a quorum, we do have a veto proof majority among the legislators in attendance, so we could ram this thing through.
  9. Not what I was talking about, but since it’s on your mind and I am the NFL psychologist, why don’t we talk about it. Got something you need to get off of your chest?
  10. Perfect! Also, considering your comment about looking at the mirrors at gyms, I’m guessing you’ve got another thing in common with her too.
  11. I really can’t picture that. I’m sticking with Kate Mara, despite her murderous eyes. Democracy!!! @Jaxom 1974, Why are you abstaining? It’s in your best interest to support an IR spot.
  12. You got lawyered Daggers. Lawyered!!!!! Also, I’ve assumed you look something like Zoe Barnes.
  13. That's not how a quorum works Jace. 7 of the 10 members of this legislative body are marked as present, so we've met the requirements regardless if we need a simply majority (50%+1) or a super majority (2/3). If the latter is required here, you could rescind your vote and deny a quorum, and if it's the former, you could do that and convince another to do the same. Absentee is not the same as abstaining. Technically speaking, you are the equivalent of the Speaker of the House and/or the Majority Leader of the Senate, and you could push a vote through right now (though I agree we should get 6 yes votes). You have majority support of the majority present. Signed, A former staffer of two U.S. Senators, one State Senator and an elected member of both bodies of the University of Minnesota Student Government (MSA)
  14. Benefited from a late rally there. I think I started off 3-7.
  15. Also, can we make it clear how it will work next year? I'm down for a more generous IR slot, just not this year because it wasn't worked out before the draft.
  16. I’m for an IR slot, but it should only apply to guys on people’s week one rosters who weren’t injured prior to the season. That seems like a fair compromise to me.
  17. Week One has been a flaming disaster for me.
  18. I am shopping Russell Wilson if any team that's in win now mode needs a QB and has some cheap young prospects they can flip.
  19. Sorry to keep peppering you guys wit questions, but I just want to make sure I’ve got this down. So after the draft, I can cut Brockstar and eat a $1 fine for the two following seasons. ME, I think you and I are going to have to strip down our rosters to some extent and really play for next year. I’d take that Hilton deal if I were you. You're not going to win now, and you'll lose either of them at the end of the season, so do what Bronn suggested and grab some younger, cheaper guys and have them at value for the next few years. Also, is there a place where on the numbers are kept on the cite?
  20. Oh my bad, I thought we could cut down our rosters before the draft.
  21. Well considering that he’s not on a team, I’ll take the roster spot and the $1. I would like to officially drop him. (I don’t any hit next year for dropping, right?) Next question, and thankfully there aren’t many left. During the bidding process, do you have to include the years as you bid or once you get the player?
