Best of season by far, I wish we could have spent a little longer in Hardhome and done away with the Sam scene which was needless (yeah we get it that that little kid is pissed) but overrall it was gripping from start to finish.

I enjoyed it overall, but somethings still irk me like how Sansa has gone from the supposedly more intelligent "playa" we saw at the end of last season to a scared little girl again. Similarly, Olenna having a sudden reduction in IQ and why the hell the Tyrells wouldnt just storm these guys holding clubs and take back their heir?

Anyone else think that the old lady's face in the House of Black and White which the camera panned to looked like Old Nan?

Maybe i have just lowered my expectations but I didn't mind this episode. I enjoyed the little boat ride through Valeryia (yup, i know Euron barely managed a similar trip with a FLEET of ships) and the scene with Jon and Tormund was entertaining. Just wish someone would kill Olly though.

5/10. Worse episode in the entire GoT series in my opinion. The writing just feels so poor and rushed this series now they have less of George's stuff to fall back on. Where the hell did that gay bashing come from and why do the Faith Militant come across as Nazi Stormtroopers?
