  1. I agree. Even a mediocre season of game of thrones is excellent television. My one complaint that can probably be a blanket statement for all the characters was that it felt a bit rushed. This is probably the outcome of condensing 2 books into one. But to be honest I'm glad that they did because from what I have read, it's the weakest 2 books in the series. It was necessary for the series but it also wasn't the greatest season. However it certainly had its high points. I have to say though that if Jon doesn't come back I'm gunna be really really depressed. It would make zero sense in the story and all the great foreshadowing and character development would be for nothing? All the other deaths propelled the plot in their own way but to kill Jon off now would be completely devastating to the story, IMO
  2. Sorry I also wanted to say that I'm a show watcher only ( granted I've read a lot about the books just not the actual books themselves ) but I was very sad thaw stannis apparently died. He was one of my favorite characters. I felt terrible that he gave so much for what he wanted and in the end it didn't matter it just wasn't meant to be I guess. But I cared a lot
  3. I just want to comment on the part where you said if Thorne was going to stab him why let them in? My answer to that is that there were many other Nights Watchmen out there with Jon.
  4. Good points, however she could have gone anywhere - back home for example. Why the wall of all places? She has no allies there except Davos who certainly isn't fond of her.
  5. Still haven't seen anyone mention a couple things: Maybe shireens burning that started to melt the snow wasn't for stannis it was so that Mel had a chance to ride back to castle black , and she just didn't realize that until the last moment. Also. I think the show runners decided to end on many cliffhangers partially as a gift and respect to Martin to give him a chance to release book 6 so that if people want to they can read what happens next in martins own words before season 6 comes.
  6. Wait I just thought of something in regards to the Mel rezing Jon stuff. What if the snow melting wasn't for Stannis but instead happened so that Mel could get back to Castle Black quickly and she didn't realize that until the last moment before she left.
  7. Why does if matter? You're honestly complaining about stuff like this? And then if they actually did show how you would B and M all day that they wasted time on that and should have shown the greyjoys or some BS
  8. One thing I don't see anyone mentioning is the huge gift D & D gave to book readers. I think it's very possible they left so many cliffhanger storyline the way they did, or at least part of the reason was to give Martin a chance to finish book 6 before season 6 comes out so that book readers can read first how most of it ended.
  9. Didn't she remove it so that the dothraki wouldn't know she's promised to another?
  10. Completely agree that those 2 get so much hate for no reason whatsoever. And no I don't think it has anything to do with the other actors - I think everyone on this show, or almost everyone has done a brilliant job and I think the writing has been brilliant as well
  11. It seems like the people who are upset about Sansa, at least some of them, expected her transformation to happen immediately - while saying that the writing is terrible. Which to me is laughable. THAT would be terrible writing. You don't just go from being what she was to a power player in one or two episodes , much like real life the transformation is a rocky and eventual one. The only thing I've had a problem with so far this year is Dorne. The sand snakes feel gimmicky but I'm willing to see where it goes since we have literally only seen them for about 4 minutes.
