  1. I'd say 'boring' was certainly one thing that this episode wasn't.
  2. Hypothetically, it could be tied in to the journey of Tyrion/Dany to Westeros via KL. The shows has steered clear of any major parentage reveals to this point therefore I think they'd struggle.
  3. If any single episode of any TV series in history deserves a 10/10, it is this episode. It was purely an epic. The scenes in Meereen, the scenes in The North, the ferocity of the battle, the way Rickon's death was handled, the way the relationship between Tormund and Davos was dealt with. Phenomenal.
  4. Enjoyed the episode, gave it a 7 - although some on here seem to think its unacceptable for people to have a positive opinion on something they didn't personally enjoy. The Riverrun scenes were my favourite, Jaime really coming into his own now. Wouldn't surprise me if Brienne/Pod come across The Hound/BwB which will make for good viewing. One thing that is bugging me is how Tyrion's character has been mauled by the writers to make him such a basic, poor character. The guy has killed two people close (ish) to him back at KL, now he's in Mereen casually walking round with no real character development. As a fan I really think he would have brought more to the KL storyline than if he were to be in Meereen - although hopefully this will soon change with the upcoming battle.
  5. I think Stannis was displayed as quite the opposite - his ending was bordering on anticlimactic but he was a key character throughout.
  6. I thought this! Really wasn't explained very well in the slightest.
  7. Personally gave this ep an 8, as personally the filler episodes like this one can be just as rewarding as the big blockbusters (Hardhome, Red Wedding ep, Episode 5 of this season). The return of Benjen is a great twist and the storyline with Brynden/Walder Frey could be a key part of the season, with Brienne on her way to Brynden and with Walder having taken Edmure captive.
