  1. BTW, the episode's name is "Eastwatch". 50 minutes in, and no sign of Eastwatch.....better fasten my seatbelt
  2. There's more chemistry between Jon and Gendry than Jon and Dany
  3. Ok, I know people like Gendry and all...but what's the point in bringing him back? Would Davos really be after him?
  4. Poor Sam. Kills white walker, cures grayscale, gets mocked by druids.
  5. Ok. so, either they swam like for half a mile underwater, or they kept underwater for like 1 hour, untill drogon and the remains of war left
  6. Tormund and the Hound on the "previously on". good!
  7. Things are tense because Jon refuses to switch sides, stating that it would be wrong to do so. He's their prisoner because of it.
  8. I understand it's a joke. The thing is, when you're the right hand man of your king, who's been taken hostage by the other queen, why make a joke about switching sides in front of said queen's main advisor? It's really careless and weird.
  9. The greatest good news this episode brought was, of course, the realization that Ed Sheeran is probably kebab.
  10. I mean, the dragon was stationary, the queen was there, she still had to remove the spear (with all its implications), and everyone saw him fall in the lake. He fell in the lake without any preparation, deep breath, and with some fatigue and stress (battle + long voyage + battle against dragons and dothrakii). So......he can't be underwater long enough, right?
  11. So...can he stay under water long enough for the dragon to...not be there?
  12. They brought the ballista to the reach. You know, just in case
  13. Davos said "Forgive me if I chose to switch sides". What does that line mean? Is he suggesting to his king, in front of a different monarch's close advisor, that he might change sides to her cause?
  14. "What? My plans aren't working? Well, maybe I should stride through the beach ahead of you, while you try to explain stuff to me and try to keep up the pace".
  15. Great clairvoyance shown here by the two last Targaryens: Jon somehow knew those drawings were made by the CotF, and knew how to interpret them Dany somehow recognized those drawings as being White Walkers
  16. Also, the guards put some new credibility on that "twenty good men" thing.
  17. The guards where punching a girl in the face, just to keep her away? Wouldn't they do that after pushing or threatening her?
  18. As usual, here are my thoughts on this week's episode, in animated format. Asides from that, I've seen varied opinions, but I firmly believe this weeks episode was a very strong episode. It has gambits, I love how the battles are fast forwarded in favor of the story, ie the gambits and schemes. They addressed some plot holes, such as the iron bank, and There was lots of symbolism (Cersei - Mad King; Sand Snakes, Olenna, etc getting their comeuppance; jaime's arc, etc). However, as an immature, yet sexually developed male, I can't help but feel sorry that my dream episode of Dany + Melissandre passionate love making seems to have gotten even more unlikely.
