He's been mentioning some animated spinoffs). This is one more thing that he's worked on during this time that isn't WoW, many of these projects have already either been released or are in active development. But I don't see WoW anywhere. It's clear to me what is taking up his time.

Anything, a prime example being his latest post about the ugly chicken or something TV show. From recent involvements, Dark Winds comes to mind, Elden Ring, whatever, the list goes on.

Yeah, he had already announced the release date. And even the cryptic images aren't the biggest problem. THE biggest problem is the innumerable new projects that he is heavily invested in, many of which are not related to asoiaf at all (even though he had said he won't work on anything else before winds is done)!

Euron becoming a full blown god is a bit too high fantasy for asoiaf. Also Jaqen is no way the third head of the dragon.

Also if Barristan didn't volunteer to save Aerys from Duskendale.

I think at this point he should just outright say it. He's never gonna finish WoW. He's already neck deep in the development of new TV shows and other spinoffs that nobody really cares for.
