  1. Please. Ygritte showed us that they wax even beyond the Wall.
  2. Can I just mention how AMAZING the dragons look. I think we're used to it by now, but they continue to look wonderful. And huge!
  3. Me either, I was desperately waiting for it to pop up in the books.
  4. I suppose if there is any reason, this will be it.
  5. But does he get to pick the episode he wants to write? If so, why this one? It just felt like nothing happened.
  6. Except it seems strange and contrived to have Robb write a will right now. If he thinks Talisa is pregnant, he would most likely wait until he discovers the sex of the child, wouldn't he? Why do it on the road before the Wedding just after hearing you're going to have a child?
  7. It got plenty of screen time tonight though :leer:
  8. I don't think they're in there for Purple Wedding building points. They're included mainly because they are tools of characterization. Seeing that Joffrey can't intimidate Tywin and that Tywin can control Joffrey, seeing that Sansa doesn't want to marry Tyrion and that Margaery is not a virgin, etc.
  9. Definitely noted. I'm glad that's there cause I was worried.
  10. It's funny to hear all these characters written horribly in an episode GRRM wrote. He didn't write every scene, but odds are he wrote most.
  11. I agree. I didn't want her to be a spy, I didn't think she was. But rolling over after sex to write a letter to "mommy" didn't seem right.
  12. Yeah, I was waiting for Jaime to push him over with his stump.
  13. The things I bolded really had nothing to do with plot. I didn't have a problem with Theon scenes before tonight. Now I feel like we've seen too many. He doesn't need to be there every week. The Joffrey and Tywin scene showed their dynamic but was a let down and didn't advance plot it was all characterization. Same goes for Sansa/Marg scene.
  14. The only way the Will worked with Jon as Robb's heir is because there was no one else. With a child, that child would presumably go before Jon. The only way it'd work in the show is if Jon is behind their child and Talisa dies, but that feels very, very contrived. So does that mean the will never mattered in the books?
  15. I'm reluctant to grade this one yet, because it felt weak. But I think it needs a rewatch.
  16. Loving the Rains of Castamere there. And a great closing scene, but not a strong episode.
  17. Hmm...*trying to think of ways for the will still to work...*
  18. My guess is that she's either lying and a spy, or she'll die at the RW.
  19. the Red Wedding will be in the penultimate episode.
  20. I wondered if they were going to have Ramsay hunting Bran and Rickon. He knows they are alive and commented on how fun of a hunt that would be. It would definitely spice up Bran's story and give them a reason to split up (because if they decide to split up now it would feel strange unless there was some more dire reason than "we can't travel together")
  21. Oh please. Sophie Turner is by no means the best actress on this show. I wouldn't even go so far as to call her good.
  22. I haven't seen it mentioned that Littlefinger's speech seems to finally be some concrete evidence about what Littlefinger's motivations are (well, as concrete as the show can be for the books). Most people have assumed that LF just wants chaos to raise himself, but others have wanted there to be something more, some other underlying motivation like with Varys, but I think this episode summed up nicely that it's all about the climb.
  23. I think it certainly was. Also the idea that Arya uses a real bow while Joffrey uses a crossbow...
