  1. I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but now it seems like the Boltons know that Bran and Rickon aren't dead. How will that change the story?
  2. I don't think Varys is involved in the PW. I thought he was just planting the seed of having Sansa marry Loras in Olenna head.
  3. Well I do think it is obviously deliberate as the words are chosen for her. It was weird to hear her say, but I think it's supposed to be, as you said, some kind of internalized hatred.
  4. I also think a(nother) shout out to the writing for Margaery's expanded character + Natalie Dormer's acting is necessary. She continues to be just an absolute amazing portrayal.
  5. Hmm..I'm just trying to think how that works for the story. Does a random Kingsguard member die? Do they want an extra one after Joffrey is killed? I have a hard time believing that Cersei would want another Tyrell so close to Tommen after Joffrey is killed. So does Tywin force it to happen?
  6. I just hope it still happens. I imagine it'll just be sometime after Tyrion and Sansa marry.
  7. That last scene was amazing beyond words! Everything I could have hoped for from that.
  8. I don't give out tens very often, but damn! that was good. it had many great scenes and then that final Dany scene was FANTASTIC!
  9. I watched it on HBO and I still have a huge problem with the song. The juxtaposition with Jaime's scene kinda ruined it.
  10. He was the member of the Night's Watch that was looking around at the girls in Craster's Keep. I was not expecting to see him at all in this and it shocked me. I really can't believe he'd just be a Night's Watch extra either, but I also can't see how they'd just start featuring him to be important.
  11. I don't think Locke expects that it will most likely be Roose who takes revenge for Jaime's hand.
  12. Bronn is absolutely every fan who can't remember character's names. First "Ser Trayn Mant" now "Lord Twat-Beard"
  13. I disagree. It was jarring and took away from the drama.
  14. One thing I didn't understand, that little Talisa scene with the Lannister hostages...are they truthfully setting her up as a spy?
  15. Yeah, there was moment before he started screaming when he was just looking at his hand and then the realization. It was a subtle thing, but really nicely done.
  16. Oh, how could I forget that scene!? With absolutely no dialogue I was laughing so hard!
  17. My personal favorite was 'Lord Twat-beard.' New favorite name for Littlefinger. This episode was really great, and I'm so glad they kept many of the book scenes in and even with much of the same dialogue. I just keep getting more and more excited for the end of the season, because they're doing a fine job. The ending scene was, of course, shocking and traumatic and amazing but I didn't like it in juxtaposition to the rock A Bear and Maiden Fair closing.
  18. I gave episode 1 a 7, episode 2 an 8 and this one a 9. They are getting better and better. A very strong episode.
  19. Regarding The Rains of Castamere, David and Dan mentioned in the commentaries that they wanted to create a song which was very easily recognizable for the Red Wedding. I wouldn't put it past them to use this as an opportunity to bring the song back to the attention of the audience so they will recognize it later.
  20. I try to see it this way, that maybe it is not Sophie's acting but just how she has to act, always hiding her emotions but even when she gets the chance to show emotion -- she doesn't do it well. As this scene showed.
