  1. made you look ;-)

  2. Then my work is done for the day. :D

  3. I gave it a 9. Although I would have liked some prophecy or even a mention of "A Song of Ice and Fire" in the HoTU, it was nice seeing Drogo again. I was not expecting that. Maester Luwin :bawl: - I cried during that scene. Jaime/Brienne was great. Brienne is so cool. 3 horn blasts. Is it season 3 yet?
  4. I can't even...brain is mush right now... LOVED Theon's scene with Luwin. He was pretty hilarious about the guy who kept blowing the horn. Heh. I sort of loved his "northern mating call" speech. It was pretty funny. Oh, and FUCK YOU DAGMER(I don't care how sexy I think your voice is  ). Dany was badass. She's so awesome on the show. Oh, and FU Doreah as well. Justice for Irri!!!! I loved her raiding Xaro's things in the end. Sansa's reaction to no longer being engaged to Joff was wonderful. It was very well conveyed since we can't be in her thoughts like in the books. Oh, and FU Littlefinger, too. "I thought of your mom as a sister" (yeah whatever) Goodbye beautiful, gorgeous lovely face Jaqen. Hello weird looking man. House of Undying was fine. As a book reader, there were stuff I wish I got to see, but on its own it is okay. It is just not as cool as it was on the books. I would have liked some prophecy. Aren't they kind of important for her story? Not too crazy about Robb/Jeyne whoever marriage or his attitude to Cat. Call her what you will, but his reaction to her was NOT very kingly. He sounded like a spoiled little brat. She should have smacked him upside the head, He came off more whiny to me on the show than he did in the book. Also found the Jon/Halfhand bit to be lacking.
  5. She's not the one in Pycelle's chamber and the one Ros beat. That was the noob from episode 3 that Ros gave orientation too. She was the one Ros trained with in season 1 and the one sent to replace Ros after Ros' breakdown after the bastard massacre. Why hire another actress when they can just use one they already have?
  6. \ This is gorgeous. Please finish it. You are extremely talented. I attribute my feeling sorry for him to Jack Gleeson's super awesome acting. He's playing such a despicable human being, but when the time calls for it he can really pull off the childlike insecurity and fearfulness of Joff that almost tricks us into feeling bad for him. Its very subtle and that's one of the reasons why Jack Gleeson is such a damn good actor. Of course, two or three minutes later you remember this is JOFF and you are like "just die already" :P Just wanted to come back to express my love for this episode again. Really superb. I must know the story on how Varys got cut!
  7. This was amazing. One of the best episodes of the series so far, probably the best of the season. The wildfire scene was beautiful. What was actually happening was horrific, but the imagery of the green flames rising on the ships and on the black water was breathtaking. Lena Headey really shown this episode. That scene with her and Tommen was superb. Everybody did great this episode for me, particularly the characters whose name starts with "s": Sansa, Sandor, Stannis, and even Shae. Shae has become more likable these past few episodes. Its a shame we didn't get one or two more scenes between her and Tyrion like the one with them in bed this episode. It would have helped us understand why Tyrion has fooled himself into falling in love with her and cares deeply for her. Sandor was also at his best. "Fuck the King" Hell yeah. The confrontation between him and Bronn was great. "Your just like me, only smaller." - Sandor "And quicker, eh" - Bronn I'm ain't gonna front, though. I was expecting a little more from the Sansa bedroom scene. It was one of my favorite moments in the books, but I know it would not have translated well on screen. I just thought we would get at least a non-kiss, a sort of editing trick to give us a "did he or didn't he kiss her" like in the books with Sansa's fuzzy memory. Maybe that would be too much, I know that SanSan is not an endgame, but I saw the dynamic between them to be more of an important factor in their own personal development and character growth, for both Sansa and Sandor. I at least wanted her to touch his face or something to that effect. Stannis was fucking incredible and unstoppable. Stephen Dillane really brought Stannis up a notch in my eyes. I loved his reaction to the wildfire. My favorite Stannis moment was right before they proceed to KL, he turns looks at his men, looks like he struggles to find something inspiring to say, and then goes "Come with me and take this city". LOL. Nowhere near as awesome as Tyrion's speech, but his conviction sold it. Tyrion was the bomb. I loved him sneaking up behind the soldier and cutting him down. His "fuck me" was a line delivered perfectly. YAY for Podrick!!
  8. A 10/10 for me. That episode was sheer perfection. I loved every moment of it. EVERYBODY brought their A game in this episode. Sansa was fantastic this episode. Cersei was at her absoulute best. That scene between her and Tommen was heartbreaking. I can't believe I used the term heartbreaking in regards to Cersei, she's such a nasty, vile woman, but she has her moments. Stannis was ON! I'm loving terminator Stannis cutting fuckers down who get in his way. Sandor was also amazing this episode. I love seeing the other side of Sandor, first with the fire phobia and then in his moment with Sandor. I don't care but I fistpumped at "Fuck the kingsguard, fuck the city, fuck the king". The look on Joff's face was priceless.
  9. It was a good episode, but not as good as some of the other ones this season even though this episode did have some great moments. Jaime/Brienne - great casting, great chemistry. Jaime's snarky, rude comments were perfectly delivered, as was Brienne's "I'm too mature to retaliate but you're really pissing me off" vibe. Davos/Stannis - Stannis deadpan about eating on the animals at the siege on Storm's End had me rolling. Him declaring that he plans to make Davos his Hand was such a lovely moment between the two. Asha/Theon - I like Asha shedding some of her tough, badass exterior because she really does care and does not want to see Theon die. I think it adds some depth to her. I was disappointed about the lack of Dany time too. I just don't want the HoTU to be rushed, That's all.
  10. made you look ;-)

    1. King Tyrion I

      King Tyrion I

      Yeah, and I did. =o)

  11. It was pretty good. I really liked the Asha and Theon scene. Its the first time we get to see Asha letting her guard down and expressing some genuine concern for her little brother. Theon still owns every scene he is in. Jaqen is so freaking hot. I loved his "a girl has no answer" and Arya just shrugs like "whatever". They have great interactions, but even though I"m not one to nitpick, I am a little disappointed in no weasel soup or Arya stabbing the guard to escape(I think that was important for her development into training to become a skilled killer). Anyway, there's plenty of time for that. Tyrion and Varys are great together. So are Tyrion and Bronn. Did Robb ever make it to the Crag? What about all those depleted medical supplies Jeyne was so worried about? Anyway, she doesn't bother me that much and I think her and Robb have a good chemistry. I don't know why, but I was expecting HoTU in this episode. So, I was annoyed that Dany scene was pretty much the same scene she had with Jorah last episode. Damn, at least have her enter the damn place already. I still love Ygritte. I think she's been fantastic Lord O' Bones is much more scarier looking than I imagined him.
  12. It was a very good episode. I was shocked about the whole Pyat Pree and Xaro alliance. I thought it was pretty cool how they took down the Thirteen. Was Pyat this much of a freaky and badass character in the book? I don't think so. It looks like Dany will be visiting the House of the Undying next episode. I really want to see how that is going to be done. "Is that a woman?" "Where did you find that beast?" Lol, Jaime. Shut. Up. You know you totally want to go out with her. ;) The Jaime cell scene was shocking and I was not expecting him to do something like that. He acted the hell out of it, though. I liked the mention of Barristen Selmy again. Hmm..., maybe he will make a reappearance at the end of the season? That would be cool. I'm sorry the scene with Arya and Tywin was sort of funny in the beginning when he had his back turn and she kept staring at his neck while she was holding the knife. The music that played and kept cutting out when he turned to look at her and resumed again when he had his back to her had me dying, like she was Norman Bates or something. Other than that (I think unintentionally) funny moment, the rest of the scene was beautiful. The two actors have such great chemistry and I'm glad Arya didn't flip shit when he said she reminded him of Cersei. I really like the little history talk as well and the mention of Aegon and his sisters. Damn you, Theon. You make me angry for being such a scummy fool right now and you make me doubly angry because I can't help loving you all the same. Alfie is so expressive with his face. He doesn't have to say it for you to see that he realizes he is doing some seriously fucked up shit and he's not all that proud of it, either. Maester Luwin made me sad :crying: He's so sweet and kudos to the actor. I really felt his sadness when he believed that was really Bran and Rickon up there. The Hound and Sansa scene was good but too short!!! I wants more. Anyway, I loved his last line to her about being grateful for some of the hateful things he's done when he's all that stands between her and psycho Joff. Loved it. Was that in the book? I can't remember.
  13. 8/10. I liked the episode a lot, I just didn't love it as much as last episode. Still great, though. The charred little boy bodies of "Bran" and "Rickon" was disturbing. You think after the bastard massacre in the season premiere, I'd be a little less shocked by some of the horrible things that happen to children on this show, but that visual still disturbed me. More Jaime! More Brienne! I love Brienne telling dudes off and having Cat's back. "and GAG HIM!" I was like lol. Catelyn is so badass. Ygritte was too funny. "And then he said turn around." Another lol moment. The Cersei and Sansa exchange was very good. "You won't love the king, but you will love his children." The women were on point this episode for me. I even liked Shae helping Sansa out and threatening the other handmaid at knife point to not to the queen about Sansa getting her period.
  14. Oh word! I must have missed it. Now I must rewatch and listen for it. :)
  15. This is my favorite of the season so far and I have the feeling the next coming episodes are going to be even better. Just a slight nitpick...I don't know why they need to put the Wall when Jon and company are not at the Wall. I was really looking forward to seeing some beyond the wall map action. Maybe some Fist of the First Men or something....oh, well. Great epi, I gave a 10. A lot of good stuff here.
  16. This was the best episode of the season so far for me. So much awesomeness from the very beginning to the end! The Good: I freaking squealed out loud at Roose's mention of his bastard at the Dreadfort. YES! Ramsay is coming. Maybe not this season, but he surely is coming...and I can't wait to meet that sick bastard fuck on tv. Fucking loved Ygritte. The actress looks great and she really sold herself as Ygritte to me. She's so adorable in her big furs. Ygritte, my girl.. can't blame her for trying. :cool4: She cracked me up with her grinding and Jon's reaction to her was priceless. I adored this couple in the books and so far I'm already loving them on the show. I'm totally digging Dany's side plot. Its interesting and Emilia would have gone to waste this season if they kept her story by the book, being that she didn't really have a whole lot except the HotU. I wonder if Doreah betrayed her...I'm sad that Irri died because I liked her :frown5: . I like the sassy spice king. I do love Dany, but its good to not have everybody immediately kiss her ass just because she's a Targ, has dragons, etc... I also find Xaro ten times much more interesting and appealing on the show, than in the book. He annoyed the hell out of me in the books. Theon taking Winterfell was heart-wrenching and conflicting for me. I was so sad for Bran and Rickon and their actors really sold their grief and despair at loosing Ser Rodrik(who went out like a boss). It was conflicting because Theon being a fav of mine, I still hated seeing this happen. He was so stupid, desperate, pathetic, and unnecessarily brutal, yet I can still see the very deep, sad, and human motives for his gigantic and consecutive fuck ups. Also: Also: Oh, hi Brienne! Tywin and Arya continue to rock. Jaqen continues to be a sexy beast. Sandor saving Sansa.... The Bad: Alas, there was no "Brotherfucker!". I really wanted that included, but oh well, at least Joff gets the shit thrown in his face. No shirtless Genry or Jaqen bath scene... The Shallow: Robb is hot and Talisa/Jeyne/whatever is pretty. That's all I gotta say about that. Jaqen is freaking smoldering!(In case I forgot to say that) Dagmer has a sexy voice :leaving:
  17. Another great episode for me. Brienne's little fight impressed me. She's quite intimidating in fighting mode. - I like Dagmer. No hideous scar, but I'll live. :P I don't know why they changed the fact that Theon knew him before, but I'm curious to see what they plan to do with the changes. I'm very curious about Dagmer. - Tyrion and Cersei scenes are always gold. I particularly liked Tyrion's "scheming and plotting are the same things" Duh, Cersei. - Jaqen is perfect, but why oh why kill the Tickler so soon? I so wanted to see "Is there gold in the village? Gems?...", but oh well. Hopefully when that time rolls around in season 3 or 4, they will have replaced it with something equally awesome. - Arya and Tywin were full of win. I think that scene when he asks her about Robb is one of my favorite scenes in the series so far. Both of their faces are so expressive. After that moment when Arya says "anyone can be killed", Charles Dance's eyes were like daggers. There was so much tension and nobody was talking, I was like "oh, shit". Arya was such a badass to stare him right back. - Love Cat's and Brienne's new bonding - I could care less about Marg in the books, but I totally like her on the show.
  18. I loved it! Jaqen and Brienne are absolutely perfect. I was super impressed with Brienne in her fight scene. Also, shirtless Gendry.
  19. Another episode I loved. I gave it a 9/10. Some good television. I squeed when I saw Harrenhal and Qarth in the credits, very much like how I squeed when Pyke was added. I wonder if they are going to do some beyond the Wall as Jon and company travel farther out.
  20. Doesn't it? That part made me laugh, I felt like I had that conversation before... Ok, refreshed now. Real quick before I get ready for work.... Qarth, from the quick shot we got of it, looked stunning. Was that Pyat Pree in the far right end? He looked like the actor cast for him and he had the blue lips. Anyway, so far from what I've seen of Xaro, I think I Iike him better than the books. I need to see more, but the actor had me intrigued. Harrenhal was more gigantic than I pictured. It looked fucking incredible. It had this whole atmosphere of terror, grief, and ruin which is how I imagined it in the books, a real scary place. I did enjoy the Arya and Tywin interaction. "This one is a girl, you idiot!" Lol. Re: The Joff and 2 whores scene. Count me as one of those people who were expecting Joff to ask Ros to do something much more disgusting with that club. For the first time watching this series, I was really prepared to turn away. I was all like, "Aw, Hell NO! This is some Ramsay shit!" But it didn't happen, but the scene was still horrible and disgusting to watch. Not sure how I feel about Not!Jeyne. Is she lying about her name to hide her nobility and status? Or did they really change her character? I honestly don't know. Anyway, I guess we will see soon enough. Carice Van Houton is doing a fine job, but I still don't like Mel. Not the actress' fault, I never got into the character. She's playing her perfectly, though. On the flip side, Natalie Dormer's Margaery is so cool, another character in the books I never cared much for, but on the show I'm totally digging her. I loved her giving it back to Littlefinger when he was asking questions that were clearly not his business.
  21. Not really, but he did rip off his white cloak and handed it to her so she can cover herself up after Joff hand Meryn Trant rip her dress. It was a quick scene and happened while Tyrion was laying the smack down on Joff. Oh, and there was a quick shot of him casting his eyes down after Meryn ripped her dress. He did look disapproving of the situation. That's about it. Don't worry, we still have the riot, her running into him after meeting Dontos, and that scene from Blackwater coming up still. ;-)
  22. First of all, another great episode. I gotta say, I despise Tywin Lannister in the books, but I'll be damned because Charles Dance entrance as Tywin this season was just fucking majestic! I didn't know he was going to show, so was pleasantly surprised. Even better was his timing right before poor Gendry almost got tickled. Speaking of, the Tickler was spot on. He's supposed to be a very plain man and even Arya when she first sees him thinks he's one of the villagers This guy looks like your common dude, but then he is actually a master torturer. Arya's prayer was something else I got excited for. Loved how after Polliver hits that woman, she immediately adds him to her prayers. The shadow baby was fucking creepy and I loved the shot of Davos' reaction. There's more, but I need some sleep now. I'll be much more coherent tomorrow morning anyway. :drunk:
  23. Okay adding to the previous post this morning of my thoughts on the episode. The Cersei and Sansa scene was extremely good. I love the sly little look she gives Sansa when she asks Tommen is he would like it if Joff kills Robb(such bitchy and malicious thing to do, so Cersei!). Of course Tommen being the sweetie cutie that he is told his mother that he wouldn't like that at all. I'm not sure how I feel about the Shae and Sansa scene, though. I didn't mind Shae at all in the first season and I actually prefer TV Shae over book Shae, but Shae is starting to sound more like a spoiled brat than a, erm, professional worker whose also a grown woman. She's coming off more like book Shae, who is a young, immature, sort of naive girl and in the show she's supposed to be this somewhat mysterious, experienced, smart woman who matches Tyrion's wits and throws his crap back at him. I couldn't stand her stomping around in Sansa's chambers. it could have been the scene, because I didn't like that scene. It did crack me up when Shae had the nerve to pick on Sansa's leftovers as she was cleaning the table right in front of Sansa. That was pretty amusing. That's my only complaint and it was such a minor scene, so it doesn't bother me that much. Everything else has been spectacular, though.
  24. 9/10 This episode was really good for me. Love: All the Theon stuff Balon and Yara Arya and Yoren Tyrion and Cersei Brienne!!! Cat telling Loras off Tommen being a sweetie pie! The only thing I didn't really feel was the Sansa and Shae scene, but it was so small.
  25. Another awesome episode. This was better than the last two. First thing I want to say Theon and Balon were amazing in this episode! The scene when Balon smacks Theon was soooooo good. Both actors really brought it. Theon confessing his feelings to his father and the look on Balon's face said so many things. I think there might have been a tiny, tiny hint of regret and guilt he might have for his son. I really felt for Theon and he was right to call Balon out. This is one instance where Theon does not deserve to be smacked. :drunk: I just wanted to hug him! :frown5: Theon's letter burning scene was beautifully shot as was his baptism and the music was so effective. So far I am loving how they are handling Theon's story and I have to praise Alfie Allen for doing one of my top favorite characters justice. Brienne's entrance was great. I'm glad they kept the fight like in the books. I love the reactions when she took off her helm. The actress is fabulous and she just towers over everybody she stands next to. Perfect. I already love the first little bit of interaction between her and Cat. I can't wait to see their friendship come about. Arya and Yoren was precious. I'm a little sad they didn't have Arya, Hot Pie, and Gendry fight, but I will get over it. There's more I have to say, but I don't have time, I got to get ready for work.
