  1. Great article, makes me want to do a reread. I just remembered. The next episode is called The Gift and Sansa is seen looking up at something while Ramsey kisses her. I'm guessing this is his "wedding gift":either Myranda or the old lady flayed. And it will mirror Joff showing her Ned's head in season one because D&D like silly stuff like that.
  2. Right? Just.. "Welcome to the family cousin, spend the night with us for some sisterly bonding. " They could even blame her murder on Jamie and Bronn later. Also I've been meaning to mention this but I really liked Myrcella's dress. Such a pretty shade of orange.
  3. Right then. Does anyone know why the Sand Snakes had to go in secret-ninja-style? They're Trystane's cousins-getting into the Water Gardens should have been easy.
  4. It's not really relevant right now. Go open a discussion in the book forums if you want a discussion on Dany/Drogo. Someone might even explain how growing up with abuse, Dany learnt to equate it with love and used it as a coping mechanism to survive.
  5. So the board ate my quote. I was referring to the people asking where the outrage was in season 1.
  6. She. Was. Thirteen. She says "no" and then what? Go back to Viserys? Hope the dothraki warlord backs off? Jesus.
  7. GRRM Uses sketchy storytelling tropes: news at eleven. I'm not sure what point you guys are makin g? People did complain about the Dany/Drogo thing on the book forums. Just as people complained about Mel's rape of Gendry and Jaime raping Cersei in the show forums. Maybe people were more forgiving in season one when when the show had some semblence of storytelling. Maybe after the show keeps adding rape when none existed has taken away that goodwill.
  8. I wish the R&R thread were still open. Just rewatched the preview -did anyone else cringe at Stannis' line? "We march to victory or we march to defeat. " Way to cover all the bases. He follows it up with "Either way we move forward " but it's still sounds clunky.
  9. It's the old lady. I think it's mirroring that season one scene where Joff shows her Ned's head.
  10. You have a very weird definition of "paying off":Oliver's his squire. He'd have seen Loras naked plenty of times in non-sexual circumstances.
  11. I cannot type. Pray forgive my spelling mistakes.

  12. Your posts make my day.

  13. I loved this episode. Concerning the HotU-anyone notice the two visions illustrate that to go forward, she must go back?
  14. Sansa: I shall pray for your safe return my lord. Tyrion: You will? Sansa: Just as I pray for King Joffery. This episode...can't stop nerdgasming...need to lie down....
  15. Yes, then the rat, to escape the heat starts clawing it's way through the victim's stomach.
  16. Just so-Renly was a member of the royal family and Loras is a famous knight known for his prowess at tourneys. It is not to be wondered at that their closeness was well known.
  17. Ah yes-I fear that the good ship Briennsa will suffer a fate similar to Harmony in the Harry Potter fandom.
  18. The book SanSan moments are not false-they may be interpreted over-enthusiastically but that's a standard feature of fandom.
  19. No, he calls it the red God in the books as well: I think they'll make Talisa a Lannister, just to make Robb's mistake more clear cut.
  20. I liked the modus operandi they picked for the Tickler-if I understand it correctly, the rat claws it's way through human flesh to get away from the fire? Dinkage and Dance-making me like the Lannisters.
  21. It is treason to kill one's king and petit treason to kill one's husband-if this were really a medieval setting, executions would be public and much harsher than a simple beheading and Marg took a huge risk.
