  4. @furryhawk Go flrryhanks!

  5. It means that one (or more) chapters has been written from a particular character's point of view in the books :)
  6. I originally rated 9, but have upped that to a 10 because of the entertainment in this thread :D The episode didn't so much 'break the internet' rather it broke the minds of the severely booktistic :D
  7. 9 I despise Cersei and yet I became choked up during the WOS - excellent scene. Stannis equally left me emotionally conflicted, some absolutely top notch acting from these two tonight. FTW was FTW, I've been processing this one for years and was emotionally prepared. A little disappointed that Thorne was the apparent instigator as I'd come to believe he respected Jon, but I suppose that helped show the betrayal. Overall an excellent end which leaves much to look forward to next season (or when Wow comes out lol)
  8. 10. I don't have words to describe my emotions. 'don't worry about Jon, I've been worrying about him for years, he always comes back' The sword! Cersei!! Wildling Warrior mum!!! Adttggvvhjjggjjfghh
  9. The best part of these episode discussion threads is all the people with absolute knowledge of what's to come in the unpublished books who can therefore whine with confidence about how D&Ds plot lines don't make sense. 😂
  10. Bring it on! First one I've watched 'live' so far this season as no work tomorrow :)
  11. I'm rating this thread 8/10 It's pretty entertaining, and some of the rage quits really up the drama quotient. Loses points for a lack of consistency (D&D have whitewashed St Tyrion!!! D&D have given Tyrion less justification for the murders and now it looks cold blooded!!) and some undeniably poor writing. Still looking forward to S04E01 rate thread though :D
  12. I *was* going to vote 9 'cos no LS. Then I thought I'd change it to a 10 to cancel out someone's 1 vote. Then I was going to create a bunch of alts and make them vote 10 because the episode was incredible TV with a whole host of satisfying conclusions and enough intrigue to make me anxious for the next 9 months to fly by. I was also going to create another bunch of alts and make them vote 1 'cos ya know, no LS and D&D hate ASOIAF so much that they are probably going to come to my house and rip my copies up of the books before wiping their pooey bums on them. And then I remembered... This is just an internet discussion board, and it makes absolutely no difference to anything or anyone how I or anyone else 'rate' the show. So I gave it a 10.
  13. Well, the average poster who corrects statistics on an Internet forum is a pedant, so there you go :D
  14. I was thinking that. 10 would be the mode rather than the median?
  15. I might rubberneck at an accident, but I wouldn't actively seek one out to view once a week, 10 weeks of the year for 8 years...
  16. I've heard that D&D sink Stannis' ship next week and only Davos survives. He rescued by Yara and they team up with Jon to kill Mance.
  17. A message to all who are getting a little hot under the collar... Why let an arbitrary number that somebody attributes to an episode of a TV show affect you so much? Just let it wash over you. Nothing is going to happen based on these ratings, you do know that right? It's certainly not worth getting enraged over.
  18. I assume (probably fairly safely) that people voting 10 really enjoy the show, so it makes sense that they would continue to watch, no?
  19. Hopefully the 20 people who voted 1. Probably the same people who vote 1 or 2 every episode and yet inexplicably keep watching.
