  1. Is the zoophilic gangbang that awaits Dany for the next season.
  2. They faced a lot of polemic this season. We might find out later, we can't tell.
  3. Yes. I mean, this obviously mean whatever the heck you want it to mean :dunno:
  4. If all art is subjective, then we wouldn't have art schools that grade students at all. Even the most abstract form of art has its own structure and composition, and its own set of rules. Yes, I've studied art in College. Kinda. Architecture, but the first years were all about art and art alone. I remember one student who said "well, that is fine (some paint, I think) because is abstract" and the teacher made him write a whole report about what abstract art meant :dunno: Mostly people think that because some modern art is dots on a canvas, anything is art. Art needs a meaning, that's what grades mostly abstract art nowadays.
  5. The point with comparisons like this is that "better" is not a qualifying per se. I mean, why would WS be better than King? Was he a better writer? Was his narrative better? And what better by itself means? Did WS managed to write more engaging stories? Did he write faster? Was his prose more fluid? Were his characters more interesting? The same question about art. Why is Botticelli better than Warhol? That's why comparing show vs books is so hard. For once, they're not even the same media. A story in a book is presented completely different as in a tv show or a movie. In a book, you can seat for hours and read a character telling a story if such story is interesting. In a movie/show you cannot have a character talking for hours because that would be boring. So, saying "Brienne story is better because it's not boring as in the books" is already a very absurd comparison as there is no way Brienne's arc could have been translated the same on screen. For instance, you don't need Brienne to tell us how bad the war has been for the Riverlands: we can see it ourselves.
  6. A few critics are already saying the show has gotten boring and nonsensical. Even Unsullied are noticing the show's own logic is disordered and uneven. A lot of people who reviewed the show is also abandoning the ship. I think next season we will find out how much damaged this season has caused to the franchise. If Martin manages to release the book before the season starts, that will be the killing blow.
  7. I see. I'm losing my time even discussing with someone like you.
  8. Do you actually think it's all they mind, don't you? You should read a lot of interviews from authors who are very discontent on how the movie adaptations have treated their books. Roald Dahl, Susanna Kaysen and Michael Ende come to my mind (Ende even sued the producers). Gabriel García Márquez never allowed "100 years of solitude" to be adapted on screen because he knew mostly producers wouldn't get the story right. GRRM is not some random writer that appeared out of nowhere. He's been writing before D&D even got to High School. He has a powerful name in the industry of books and bookselling. Any young author that finds out GRRM, named the third more powerful writer, could do nothing to protect his own work from HBO's changes and deviations, would thing twice before giving them the rights.
  9. I didn't ask what things YOU consider to be more interesting. I'm saying what the show has done that is more interesting that those things. All you say "it's a filler! it's a filler!". The greyjoys are much of a filler that they are casting Euron next season, lol. And if you think show Tyene was better than the books, well, it's your taste the one that cannot be salvaged.
  10. “Tik-Tok” (Kesha) has sold more copies than any Beatles single. Hence, Kesha is a better artist than the Beatles. :dunno: And yes, I'm sure D&D will be able to choose their future projects. But I doubt any author would want them to adapt their works again.
  11. Tell me what has the show done better than: Aegon invading Stormlands Quentyn releasing Dragons The North plotting against the Boltons Jaime realising Cersei never loved him and fulfilling his vows to Cat Brienne's meeting Stoneheart Doran's "Fire and Blood" speech. Stannis whole Northern campaing The Kingsmoot Areo killing Arys Barristan arresting Hizdhar. All the other things people say "wow! that's cool!" are scenes straight from the books even if they lack context and characterization.
  12. Even if such books were bad, there is no way they are better than what we saw this season. Books 4 and 5 have highlights the show decided to cut for no reason at all (like Jaime's chapters).
  13. OT Well, Peru won't change the fact it has 4 main pillars: Pizarro, Farfán, Vargas and Guerrero. I haven't yet seen enough of Carrillo to make up my mind about him but I think he's, like the other relatively new kids, being tested on how he works with the team (he scored an autogol in last Cup, hah). I'm sure he wasn't going to be included AT ALL in the match but Farfán was hurt and tired. (and of course, he's from Alianza Lima, just like Guerrero and Farfán, so, he will be super awesome)
  14. I do. If you think I get all mad with show inaccuracies, is because you never saw me during a Peru Match.
  15. TBF, we don't know exactly what Martin had in mind, nor what was he meant to include or not. We don't know also what he planned to do of his "Dance".
  16. See? Well, at some point, a Dragon was meant to appear. The "they all died but this one kid who might or might not be real" is probably the oldest trope of the bag. Anastasia comes to mind.
  17. aGoT is already the story changed as we know it now. So, I'm sure, even if he's not very much included there, that Aegon was already created. Didn't he had one of the books already planned to be name "Dance"? You need two for tango.
