I agree, I'm going to be as sad to see Pedro get it as I was to see the the Red Viper get it in the books. I also thought for the first time they did a good job in finally portraying that Dany's sense of justice, is, err, not quite what she thinks it is.

I pray that there is no Quentyn, it will be a blessing, LOL. I don't really care about Vic, but my guess is that the Greyjoys are going to be more important in subsequent books so they will have to at least have one of them.

I like Glenn, so I have no problem with it, but I'm at a loss as to who is going to tell her about him spying on her now...unless they change it up and she throws him out for some other reason.

It looked that way....which would be really odd...Asha fights the Boltons...and then what? She has to lose because Ramsay still has Theon until he escapes Winterfell. So, would we just have a random failed confrontation where Asha goes there and doesn't get Theon and then? shows up again after Bayon dies...

I'm going to have to disagree. Wearing eye patches and carrying signs is much more subtle than drinking out of a skull and then yelling rape them til they die.

What is the narrative purpose of taking bad guys who Jon is going to kill and making them terrible, horrible scumbags who Jon is going to kill? It isn't like they've introduced a new set of players who are going to be around a while.

Sorry, this to me is an example of people bending over backwards to excuse the show for injecting pointless sexual violence. We don't need to "see" them raping anyone to know they are bad, we already know they are bad because they killed Mormont. And, the show does this ALL the time, like throwing in the two naked women to sex up the torture of Theon. Or Ros. Or 90% of the brothel scenes. Or Jamie and Cersei in the sept, If this was an isolated incident, fine, but it isn't. They do it in every episode.

I just don't think that Lena was up to the acting task of the level of Book Cersei's complete emotional meltdown, I can't see why else they wouldn't have done it, as it was, a true turning point for her, where she sheds one more level of her relationship to objective reality in favor of her own version of truth.

Of course it did. It happened this way in the book. It happens this way on screen. So, I don't honestly even know what you are talking about here. There are screen shots that show it happening.

Never mind, you know, that he started a war over the dwarf son he despises....but he's going to murder his grandson, LOL, who can quite easily dope up on milk of the poppy for the forseeable future if the sharp lesson doesn't bring him in line. But, people have all kinds of whacked out theories.

Agree, it's a TOTAL nitpick, but why not purple, and for that matter, why not a hairnet. The idea that she's going to realistically have a huge gemstone on her necklace missing and no one notice it....seems fairly unlikely.

I always read the book passages that their goal was that it appear natural, not that it be a poisoning or that Sansa be blamed, or even Tyrion. Of course they would arrange it so that they were not directly involved in any of the chain of events...but I don't know that this means they ever intended for Tyrion and Sansa to be accused.

They already did it, when they had his two porn assistants, of which she was one, I think, last year, help torture Theon.

I've never heard the pie theory, which seems crackpotish to me....I just thought it showed us some of Book Cersei--complete stupidity, counter productive move because it was someone else giving an order instead of her.

The whole Bolton segment was great, everything about it, fat Walda, the dynamic between Roose and Ramsay.

I'm to the point with the Shae characterization now, after this week, as I was with "Talisa" just fucking kill her and put an end to the torture of it ASAP.

Maybe we will be spared Penny in the show, one can only hope for small favors.
