[TWOW SPOILERS] March 2014 Preview Chapter Part IV
Logodnica replied to Stubby's topic in The Winds of Winter
No, Arya is not going to shoot an arrow through her mother's eye. I think Stoneheart, having reached a place of peace or sufficient vengeance and seeing at least 1 of her children alive and thriving, will ask for the gift. And Arya will gently give her mother the gift so she can finally be at peace. It will be poignant and beautiful. -

I've read all the books and lurked/participated in the forums for 2 years and I am still breathing way too hard, my heart is pounding, and I have a box of kleenex on standby.

That would suck if they merge the plots. This is a logical arc: conqueror/butcher of Essos --> attempt to rule --> fail ---> conqueror/butcher of Westeros

It was not in his family's interest to trade Sansa to Robb. Throughout aCoK he was still loyal to his family. Therefore it would have been totally out of character for him to do so. Unlike Robb, Tyron is smart enough to realized that Robb could construct an alliance with a powerful family by giving his sister's hand in marriage. dhu. so why would Tyron do something so ridiculous as trade her to the Starks??

ohhhh.....someone DOES need to get off their altar. I would much rather the show spend those minutes on something else from the book. Perhaps given the full dialogue between Dany and the Second Sons which is a lingustic delight, and much better at developing Dany's character than the sex scene is at developing any other character.

there was NO NEED to distract him. It's just HBO wasting precious show minutes with sex and nudity.

Wasn't Tywin Hand by that time. Tyron had no authority anymore. He couldn't say no to Tywin.

Agreed except on one point. As she was taking off her dress, Tyron CLEARLY was looking at her with lust. I'm glad that they at least added that wrinkle to the scene. Tyron isn't some kind of saint.

I'm not sure. They didn't show it as a "choice moment" as in they didn't show her understanding what it meant to kneel and end the mockery. They showed it more of a "of course I would do that momenet" where she didn't realize that he couldn't reach her, and she knelt when she realized. Maybe what they are going for is "Sansa is so kind she would of course kneel. Love her more." Instead of "Sansa realized what it would mean to spare Tyron's feelings, and so she knelt. She has no malice towards him." Perhaps I'm dissecting it too much.
