    Lannisters murder their enemies in cold blood. What irritates me is the whole Dorne storyline last season could have been scratched. Waste of time.

    Jaime had short hair in the flashback, but he did stab him in the back. But there is one part that I'm curious about, right after Doogie Howser Stark says "where's my sister" there is someone's hand and forearm on something with a lot of blood, anyone think that could be Lyanna in childbirth? the clothing on the forearm is brown leather, with green cloth underneath. Stark colors. Something in the shot is very bloody. 5 minutes and 53 seconds in. granted it could be Robb over fake Westerling at the Red Wedding, I'm not real sure what to make of it.

    If Bran saw the history of the world why would he have to ask Benjen what happened to him? Wouldn't he have seen that?

    What we are now seeing is the beginning of the end of this show. All arrows point to the battle between ice and fire. We have known it all along, now it's gonna be about who is left alive in Westeros to battle The Others and get their asses kicked only to have Dany and the Dragons swoop in and save the day. I doubt we get to see any of the aftermath.

    I guess this also means the CotF are officially extinct now? What a revelation, that the children created the white walkers. How long after that creation does the lord commander of the nights watch take one for his bride? Was this done during the war against the first men? Do the others get so out of control that this is the catalyst that brings the children and first men to the truce? It really sucks this all came out before WoW.

    We knew those were gonna happen though. And Greywind was done no justice. He goes down swinging taking Freys with him. Summer goes down swinging too but it didn't look like he put up much of a fight because of the numbers. I just hope Summer and Hodor don't come back as wights. That would absolutely suck.

    Agreed, I will say this was a powerful episode. The Hodor thing was extremely powerful and gut wrenching. I'm just pissed about the lack of respect for the dire wolves throughout the show.

    If they die in the books I'll eat crow, and why on earth would I think this series would keep someone around just because fans like them. If that were the case Robb, Ned, Cat, Shaggy, Greywind, and Lady would still be alive.

    Is it a bad show? No. I think you are pretty much spot on with analysis and you summed up why I don't like this show anymore. Well don't like is harsh, I like the Stark arc. I don't like everything else. There is/was a way to stay true to the books without stomping on them. And yes I'm pissed at GRRM. I think he pretty much said FU to every book reader that has been there since the beginning. The kingsmoot should have happened a few seasons ago. It's pointless now unless the Greyjoys have a part to play in the conclusion.

    I gave it a 4 out of 10 because the Stark children part is pretty good. The rest sucks.

    It looks to me like Mel is being set up to sacrifice herself to bring Jon back. Life pays for life, and I now believe it will be Mel that gives herself up to bring Jon back. Right now she is having to cope with the fact that she was wrong about everything, and the only way to keep some of her vision in tact is to revive Jon.

    I didn't like it, you end 2 lines of major famalies in 2 episodes, and just blow through it, but wasted all kinds of time showing sagging tits and Mel as an old woman. Blow through that part, not the extinction of the Martells. These dudes are pretty good at taking others material and bringing it to the screen but they aren't very good at making their own stuff up. And maybe george will do that as well, but George doesn't waste time on small shit, while neglecting the important stuff. He wastes time on everything.
