The lannisters of lannisport and the rock are bound to host a family meeting and casterly rock might become one of the great even places of the book.Who can it be? Devan, damion or joy hill. My bet it's joy hill.Then in kings landing we can be pretty sure that tyene will be a POV.If jon leaves the wall(unlikely) they'll need a new POV, there, who? Val maybe? It would be hard enough to finish the story in two books with all the POVs he has, he's probably gonna need to kill off several POV characters in TWOW. We already have another POV at the wall: Melisandre And if I recall correctly, GRRM has said that he won't introduce new POV's in Winds of Winter. sarah.jenice Posted December 21, 2013 Share Posted December 21, 2013 We're due for a Maester/southron POV for the prologue this book since we had a had a north of the Wall POV for the ADwD prologue and since GRRM seems to place the prologue in a place we haven't seen yet, I could see it being Casterly Rock. Maybe the Maester of Casterly Rock? That could give us much needed info on what the Maesters are up to and if they are really actively trying to rid the world of magic and dragons. I also remember GRRM saying we won't get new POVs but there is always a new character for the prologue. We just have to remember they die at the end. I thought what he said was that there would not be POVs from people who we haven't yet been introduced to, making it possible that there could be a new POV from some already familiar face? Joy Hill would be a twist, but I'm thinking we'll be needing an adult POV from the Rock, some have suggested that we might get a maester prologue from CL.
