a free shadow
Welcome to ASOIAF Twenty Questions, 101st edition!Absolutely nobody knows the rules, except me and Oberyn Martell, but he is dead now:Anything from the series is allowed! This includes the show and (unfortunately) Dunk and Egg, also The Princess and The Queen. We've had everything from Theon Greyjoy to Willas' crippling to Arya's fleas to the storms of Storm's End.Animals are considered characters. So if you have an animal (or some other odd creature) in mind and someone asks if it's a character, you can just growl ''yes''.Body parts are considered objects.Plants are objects (without any consideration).Dunk is considered a POV character. The Iron Islands are considered South of the Neck.Skagos is considered South of the Wall.Hints aren't mandatory. They're common, but if you want to challenge us, don't feel obligated to include one (or two, or three, as the case sometimes is).Once we get to around sixteen questions, start conserving questions, to be fair to other players, even if they are far less smart than you.Keep an updated list of all the questions in your post when answering. It's customary to let the winner host the next round, although you can see in the registry that that's not always the case.Post a list of the host, answer and winner of the previous round in the registry thread.Don't choose something that's already been done. We have a registry going, and it's updated every time a game finishes, so you can just check it. It's long and you should feel intimidated. You may ask one question, make one guess, or do a combination of a question and a guess. However, you should not ask more than a question or make more than one guess in the same post. Or do. I do.Editing old questions or guesses into new ones is not allowed. You are welcome! yomi
Well, if we have a new thread, I guess I move the old riddle over here... Hint: change 1. Character/object2. Object3. Not man-made4. Seen on page in five books5. Body part. If you hadn't got body part, I was going to hint that in a sense it is man made.So I will hint instead that hint 1 above is probably entirely useless. 6. Seen in AGOT/ACOK/ASOS Since you are in mourning i will make the tooth question free. Not that tooth. 7. Seen in ASOS but the scene I am picturing is in ACOK I haven't seen it either (HBO I mean). 8. Not more than two9. Seen in Westeros10. I count that as another question - It is an inherently multiple organ like hair or teeth.11. Seen SOTN Hint: there is nothing extraordinary about it. It just reflects my interests. So I wouldn't waste time thinking about noteworthy body parts. 12. Body part still attached to its body at end of ASOS. I would think the answer is starting to take form. 13. Yes its dead like nails, hair Hint: maturation 14. hair 15. Hair on head 16. Actually, I'd say its beard and head hair combined. Hair that changes with the character both in books and HBO, but not identically between book and show. And I am afraid it is that hair in a particular scene.Jaime's hair? edit: May we include Oberyn in the tread title?

Castellan
Yes, its Jaime's hair, in particular scene, and you have to say what the imagery is. and you already know the scene is in ACOK and the hints have been change and maturation ......or start a new game
yomi
Scene from a Catelyn POV?

yomi
No, I'm ignoring the "...or start a new game" and still try figure out the scene Castellan was thinking of. She said it's in ACoK (7.), so actually it has to be a Catelyn POV, as neither Sansa, Arya, Bran, Jon, Tyrion, Theon nor Davos meet Jaime in ACoK. So the last question was likely unnecessary. Is it this scene?"Jaime Lannister had been allowed no razor since the night he was taken in the Whispering Wood, and a shaggy beard covered his face, once so like the queen's. Glinting gold in the lamplight, the whiskers made him look like some great yellow beast, magnificent even in chains. His unwashed hair fell to his shoulders in ropes and tangles, the clothes were rotting on his body, his face was pale and wasted ... and even so, the power and the beauty of the man were still apparent."
