Capt Captain
I like it, but how would the Faceless Men control such beasts? And how did they get over to Hardhome?
hodorisfaclessman
I like it, but how would the Faceless Men control such beasts? And how did they get over to Hardhome? Observation of the valyrians and how they bond to dragons ..stealing that knowledge somehow(now they want the secrets of dragon control) or just a well timed and planned use of the substance they have that drives animals crazy. Andreon Blackfyre
On the History and Lore it is assumed that maybe their (Valyrians) magic got the better of them.So could the Faceless Men use Valyrian Magic against Valyria itself? Was it a contradicting form of power?? I dunno
Archmaester Drew
Wow, that's really interesting! Hardholme may have been the Los Alamos of their Manhattan Project... Perhaps the Faceless Men learned to control the firewyrms in a similar fashion to Valyrians controlling dragons? Cool theory! :smoking:
KaiserTsar
Or, we have a significant amount of evidence that areas of this world are volcanic (stone dragons). Winterfell is built on a hot springs, possibly warmed by magma. The Faceless Men like giving "the gift" to people. They recruited Arya. Dragon eggs can explode, like at Summerhall. Dragonstone is also volcanic. All of the North is like Iceland. Euron had a dragon egg. Balon Greyjoy dies conveniently in a way that looks like an accident. Faceless Men plotting to destroy the North using Arya? Yikes.
