Slender Aimry Hill Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 On the whole I think Euron will enter and sack the city, take the Citadel and use its various secrets, but not take the Hightower (where Sam & co will be able to hide due to Sam's kinship). The Hightowers will at least appear substantially to stand aside doing nothing while Euron raids and ravages onward. They always stand aside. In the grey plague when Pycelle was a boy they let the city suffer and sealed themselves off. Eventually, though, they'll do someting important and weird. Trickrs Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Oldtown will be defended by like... 10,000 men (pretty much well equipped and trained considering Hightower wealth) at least, how will the Ironborn "plumder" the city?
