opinionn
It's been said a couple times that they can (i think) but Bloodraven says at one point that he has tried talking to his family members (only through his weirdwood warging i believe) but they do not respond. So is that the limit to this magic? idk always had a wet dream that a present (dead) ned stark would say something to one of the surviving starks. Arya speaks to a weirwood tree at some point and it sounded like a dead ned stark was talking to her but it could of been anyone or in her head. Another point, I think beric dondarrion or melisandre mentions that there is no afterlife. So any thoughts or anything I missed?
Archmaester Drew
Welcome to the forum! My understanding of the wierwoods is that greenseers on their thrones can see anything that the trees or the children have seen over time (including while skinchanging), but not interact with anyone in a different time (past or future). :)
Ser Greg of House House
Yes, changing the past would be too much.
opinionn
Yes I know this but what are the odds of a DEAD Ned, living in his 7 heavens or 1 or watery halls, will deliver some guidance or hope to one of his children.
