It seems like the pre WO5K was the Wax of Stark/Lannister/Tully/Baratheon/Aryn/Tyrell and the Wane of Targeryen/Martell/Greyjoy. In the present we have seen the fall of Stark, Baratheon, Tully, with Aryn and Lannister reaching that point at a geometric rate. Meanwhile Tyrell is reaching the zenith while Greyjoy is nipping at their heels, Martell is seeing their plots turn to fruition, Targaryen had gotten 3 young dragons for the first time in a century and a half. It seems the tides are shifting so I expect Many to be Queen of ashes and her reign to mark the bittersweet return of the dragon ( as foreshadowed by the mummer show) and regrowing.
