We were debating for a bit about what it was, because it lasted too long to be lightning and there wasn't any thunder. Then we heard this low, deep rumble unlike anything we've heard before, and soon after my fb feed exploded with people talking about it. Well, it appears I may have witnessed a meteorite crashing!Just thought Id make a post cause I've never seen anything like it before and I can't recall any other time this happened in NZ.
