As a serious answer, more information is needed in terms of what examples of game theory in literature entails. I think, generally speaking, Martin depicts how rational-choice models in general are fallacious due to the human element - unless you want to extend the definition of rationality to a tautology. If so, I would answer that game theory has levels at which you can apply it. A smart person who considers all possibilities and other peoples actions based on those possibilities than in theory they have applied game theory.
