Tyrion The Huge
The Sun's Son died in Dany's bed after getting showered by dragonfire, but looks like there's some theories about him being still alive or blah blah, who cares to explain me some of them? Bright Blue Eyes
Some guy with burns all over remarkable features died. That's the point of origin of these theories, speculating that Tatters died instead of Quentyn. I don't put any stock in the theory, but it exists and can't currently be disproven. Doesn't it seem a bit pointless though to get all the way to Mereen just to die there?
RoamingRonin
Doesn't it seem a bit pointless though to get all the way to Mereen just to die there? Can someone identify this illogical fallacy? Seems pointless for Ned to have so many chapters just to die in the first book. This line of thinking just doesnt make sense. Things dont happen when we readers want them to. Dragon Seed
Doesn't it seem a bit pointless though to get all the way to Mereen just to die there? maybe, Ned made it to KL and just died there but his short time there has an impact still today. We'll know more if and when the Dornish start doing something.
aryagonnakill#2
Bright Blue Eyes, What do you mean it can't be disproven, we were inside Quentyns head when he got burned. This theory is right up there with E=D or any theory other than R+L=J.
Bright Blue Eyes
Bright Blue Eyes, What do you mean it can't be disproven, we were inside Quentyns head when he got burned. This theory is right up there with E=D or any theory other than R+L=J. We were inside Quentyn's head when the arm of his coat started to burn, then we left him and only saw a disfigured almost-corpse several days later. Mind you, I consider the theory wrong, for the reasons you bring up among others, but there is enough place for reasonable doubt and that's what the theory is based on. Tyrion The Huge
Quiathe mentioned him though when she warned Dany, does he errrr like mean ill to her? I don't think, the Dronish dudes seem good xD
Bright Blue Eyes
Quaithe is 1) anything but omnsicient (she only has some current surveillance data, probably obtained via glass candle) and 2) has her own goals. Trusting her is foolish at best. In-world, we as readers have the additional problem of Quaithe fitting a couple positive tropes messing with our heads. But GRRN loves to prove tropes wrong.
