Here's my two cents: If Sansa is still the ruler of Winterfell and the surrounding lands, then it seems the title and seat have been downgraded in status with the ascension of Jon as King in the North. Considering that what remains is basically just a burnt out castle, and most of Winterfell's population have been killed off, it will probably take a long time before it return to anywhere near what it was before the War of the Five Kings anyway, so it's not really that big of a loss for Jon if Sansa keeps it. Besides, Karhold, Last Hearth and the Dreadfort might also be up for the taking if he wants a seat of his own. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
