Well that's the thing right? GRRM just made the revelation about fire wights even being a thing. We just assumed Beric (book and show) and Jon (show only for now) were brought back by the magic of the Lord of Light. The concept of a fire wight wasn't even a thought until GRRM did that interview for time. He even refers to Lady Stoneheart being a fire wight. He refers to her specifically as a vengeful wight. So can I explain Beric bleeding? No. But I'm sure GRRM will lay it all out in the books for us. But, there is one thing that is indisputable, and that's GRRM's own words, that Beric is a fire wight, because he was brought back by fire magic. So as far as the show goes, that would make Jon a fire wight too. He has yet to reveal Jon's fate in the books, but if indeed Jon is resurrected in the same fashion as on the show, the he too will be a fire wight, based off the words of GRRM himself...
