A likely story! I find it far more probable you hate penguins, and as such decided to smother the thread I made in it's infancy! Anywho, I haven't given an update on the Afrin situation in awhile. Two weeks ago Turkey's forces did in fact drive the Kurds out of Afrin. I haven't been able to find any new news since then, so I'm assuming their attack has stopped for now. And yes, this did have a negative effect on the battle against ISIS. The most reliable ground forces that the US was supporting in the attempt to finish off ISIS were the Kurds.
