Danys roads not travelled

Just thinking about the rumour that originaly dany would have spent a lot more time in quarth just as a thread for ideas how do people think that would/could have panned out

B dany does exactly as jorah , hidden sneaky ser barristan and strong  belwas etc she travels back to ilyrio as he wanted with 3 ships of luxury items

C  leaves drogo with the slavers and marches back with 2 dragons ,an army and 0 beef with the slavers or powerful  lords in essos

D takes 'frog' up on his offer 

E khal drogo lives

F no daario/daario is uninterested in dany outside yunkai

G dany takes good advice in mereen and doeesnt execute random nobles, keeps the pits open

Personaly id say for each

A) id say we are introduced to various factions in quarth so we probably would have seen danny learn to play the game over months and possibly years(may have been where grmm was gonna do his originaly planned time skip) . Its established that quarth has the sea cargo carrying capacity to easily bring across huge forces. She was probably supposed tonlearn from the wizzards originialy either from interacting witfh them or battling them.

B   )yeah probably links with the golden company, the 3 ships worth of lucury  goods would help buy some more sellsails and sellsword companies  and ships over to dorne

C) drogo either burns them all or becoems the cornerstone to a new ghis empire! For dany the rest goes largely like b)

D) probably would try and take as many slaves as possible OR leave jorah amd daario behind with like half the unsullied  to make thing simpler in westeros

E) the khal  was a savage but probably not a complete idiot.hed know he cant take his whole  100k khalassar actoss the water even to avenge his wife. He probably.meant as we saw to capture massive amounts of slaves and sell them for a mix of sellswords/sellsails and  regular slave soilders (slavers bay probably produces regular slave troops for a fraction of the price of unsullied)  from there danyy can reach out to dorne/ilyrio or both for even more support

F)probably dies as her aasault is bloodily tirned back and mereen + New ghis arrive to back up yunkai

 

G)probably no harpies and builds empire from there

B Gets raped by Jorah along the way, who probably steals the eggs.

C Basically plunders along the way to fuel her conquests. Slavers Bay remains a big concentration camp.  Worse the Good Masters now have a dragon.

D Meereen collapses, now the freedmen know they’ve been abandoned to their fate.

E If Drogo’s invasion comes off (with support of Golden Company), she probably gets wed at some point to Aegon.

F Becomes the master of masters, slavery is restored under the new Queen.

B belwas or barristan would more likely fuck him up if he tried that

 

C id say with drogo the dlavers either bteak the beast and become a bew empire OR it burns their  city to the ground and wanders free. Dany will probably head to ilyrio for help

D true and dany gets to westeros much faster. The viper may even pause his kingslanding plot

 

E to be fair they probably wont need or use the golden company unless ilyrio contacts jorah. Drogos  massive slave farming  savage horde can land enough gold to bring a golden company sized amount of sellswords with them  anyway!

We would have a completely different story.  Daenerys is the most important character and her path, the path of the dragon, led to where we are now.  We could brainstorm but that is not the story we have.  George R. R. Martin wanted to give Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion the time they needed to grow and for Daenerys to get experience in governing kingdoms and leading armies. 

The one deviation which I would have liked is Asshai.  That would have been cool.
