Spastic Plastic
Precisely that. Murder is a victimless crime. This is among the funniest statements I've ever heard in my whole life. I think we should all donate one dollar each to Old Nan and send it to him. It's cheaper than seeing comedians live.
Cantabile
Precisely that. Murder is a victimless crime.Good luck explaining that one to a jury.Yes. And ours, of course. You sincerely think Bakker wrote that analogy to give himself and his readers a hard-on, and that the literary value I explained is invalid? Right then. Cantabile
Not quite creepy enough for Bakker - this belongs to VandeMeer.Bakker could give the octupus deadly fangs which drip a venom that causes the victim to suffer unspeakable bliss. As he pleasures her sexually, the fangs cause severe blood loss and shock, ultimately killing her, but the venom causes such incredible pleasure that the victim dies willingly in ecstasy. He could then include a dialectic on the nature of pleasure and pain for good measure. Cantabile
Not a single picture.Someone mentioned in another thread that the U.S. sales for the series are 125,000 or so. Not sure if that's really a large enough pool of people to find talented artists who are interested in making fan art and then putting it up on the web.
