Andrew-Mathias
Him and our Marge Tyrell are the two best choices in season two IMO...
benadgatemusic
It would be nice if you guys could do us the courtesy of posting a photo of the actor when you make these threads. And, I think Viggo Mortensen would be better (and BRILLIANT) as Mance, the King Beyond The Wall. Jude-the-Obscure
Liam does very well in the slightly bewildered ordinary bloke roles. Sorry I can't think of a specific example, but I can remember him doing this type of role exceptionally well before he made it to the A list. I think he'll be a great Davos - he has that mix of feet-on-the-ground common sense, and a slightly deeper gravitas I find in Davos when I read the books. Smokingfinehash
He was pretty good as a sardonic "been there, done that" type of character in "Centurion". I don't think he'll disappoint.
Otheronionknight
Davos is 1 of my favorite characters(note: username). & I think Liam is perfect. Him & Nat. Dormer are exactly who I pictured when reading the novels.
Sandorella
Just wanted to bump this thread to say how excited - like, tears of joy excited- I am that Liam Cunningham is going to play Davos. I have been a huge fan of his ever since I saw him in the 1998 Irish mini-series "Falling for a Dancer" where he played the strong and silent Mossie Sheehan. That show is often referred to as the breakout role for Colin Farrell, but I only had eyes for Liam.I can't wait to see him in GoT!
