Raven Award Fundraising

As a first ever recipient of the Brotherhood without Banner's Raven Award, I thought I'd post a reminder that the 2006 Worldcon in L.A. is fast approaching, and that two new recipients have been selected for their tireless efforts on behalf of the fan community.

Mormont and Skylark have made great efforts to make the community what it is, and both helped to make the Glasgow Worldcon the success that it was, so it's no surprise that they're the next two recipients of the award. With your help, we'll be sure to get the both of them to the Worldcon, as well as making sure that the BwB yet again carries on its run of throwing great parties.

As Parris has noted, and has been remarked at conventions such as the recent Boskone, through these efforts (throwing parties, creating a fan fund for great BwBers, volunteering, etc.) the BwB is making its presence felt in the SF fandom community. And with that, we're making the community itself closer-knit.
