kmgrey
I seem to recall that Williams was going through marital problems and a divorce throughout the writing of To Green Angel Tower and those personal issues compromised his judgment a bit including making him feel like he needed to provide a (too) happy ending to compensate. The ending never bothered me too much. I understand the criticisms but I loved the preceding 2500 pages enough that it really couldn't mar my overall opinion of the series too much. Astra
I liked the series a lot apart from the first 300 pages, it was a bit slow start.
Meli
for those who have read otherland, i have to ask... SPOILER: Otherland at what point did you realize paul jonas was x? i suspected he was in some kind of sim once he got to the eight squared, but i'm ashamed to admit i didn't figure out he was x until wells explained the grail project in the "lab". i'm just curious how slow i was.
