I never said she would slay Stannis; I used the quote to show that they will most likely be on conflicting sides. But the quote also suggests that slaying this lie will weaken his claim; after all, it's the only reason Melisandre (his most powerful adviser/ally) is on his side, and it's apparently his whole motivation/justification for wanting the throne. Never take a day off do you?
