AegonSnow
Taken Literally.Anyone wanting to claim Targaryen descendancy would be best to prove themselves with fire.Only one that has done that so far is Dany, by stepping into the funeral pyre.Fire does not burn dragons.Let the "Aegon" prove himself in the same way. And if needs be, Jon Snow.
stu1987
Daenerys is burned by Drogon's fire. Also, not all Targs have a high heat/fire threshold.Would be an entertaining test though.

Northbound
Targaryen's are not totally immune to fire, including Dany(she has been burned before).
Gingerchu
Problem is a Blackfyre possibly has more Targ/Valerian genes than a legit Targ.... it would prove nothing
Glenn of House Patrick
Well Jon was already burned before. And so was Danaerys. Targs aren't completely impervious to fire, they just may be able to tolerate the heat better than most.

Corvo Attano
I think this subject has been discussed at least 38463717 times. Targs have a higher natural heat resistance to most (in the same way Starks have a slightly higher resistance to cold, and Ironborn can last slightly longer underwater before they drown), but by no means are they immune to fire. Dany got burned by Drogon, and loads of Targs died in a fire at Summerhall. I wouldnt be surprised if Velaryons & Celtigars also had a higher heat tolerance, because they're also of Valyrian descent. The pyre was a one time magical event. The deaths of Khal Drogo and Mirri Maz Duur (and possibly Viserys) paid for the life of Dany & her dragons. Under normal circumstances, Dany would burn just like anybody else.

Glenn of House Patrick
how does a greyjoy prove that they're a genuine kraken? They get drowned to get a glimpse of the drowned god's watery halls, just like the other ironborn. Then they get revived through CPR. What is dead may never die.
