Kaesha
Fun and silly quick question: Is the one eared tomcat that Arya tries to catch when she blunders into the room with the dragon skeletons the same cat as Rhaenys's black kitten Balerion?GoT 612: Varys is speaking to Ned."Rhaenys was a child too. Prince Rhaegar's daughter. A precious little thing, younger than your girls. She had a small black kitten she called Balerion, did you know? I always wondered what happened to him."GoT 328: Arya POV."The Red Keep was full of cats: lazy old cats dozing in the sun, cold-eyed mousers twitching their tails, quick little kittens with claws like needles, ladies' cats all combed and trusting, ragged shadows prowling the midden heaps. One by one Arya had chased them all down and snatched them up and brought them proudly to Syrio Forel... all but this one, this one-eared black devil of a tomcat. 'That's the real king of this castle right there,' one of the gold cloaks had told her. 'Older than sin and twice as mean. One time, the king was feasting the queen's father, and that black bastard hopped up on the table and snatched a roast quail right out of Lord Tywin's fingers. Robert laughed so hard he like to burst. You stay away from that one, child.'"Eh, eh?
Dragonstar
It's a popular theory. Tommen mentions it again in the epilogue of aDwD. Apparently it chases ravens in the rookery. Wargish foreshadowing?
Lady Nastja
It is an established theory, one that I believe. Some also believe that Bloodraven has waged the cat to see the events in KL.
Grip
It's very likely, I'd say.
diremitar
Hmmm I am puzzled about Balerion snatching roast quail from Tywin's fingers. What that means? Could that symbolize Varys switching aegon and snatching him from Tywin? It is little stretched... What else could that mean? Quail is some sort of the bird, right? The Crow
I like this idea!
Kaesha
Questions about warging: Must a warg be in close proximity to the wargee? (Bran is physically close to Hodor and thus able to warg him.)Must he have been in contact with it before? (Now that Arya has been in contact with Balerion, she could warg him?)Does warging get easier on a particular subject the more it is done? (If so, then perhaps some animals or people could essentially be made open? to warging and be sent to various places as easily warged 'spies'.) Bloodraven as well.
