Tywin Lannister and Kings Landing different outcome

So, I have been wondering lately, what would have happened if Tywin had gotten his wish and married Cersei to Rhaegar. However Cersei and her children for whatever reasons shared the same fate as Ellia and her children, and where killed horribly at the end of the Rebellion. How do you think Tywin would responed to four bodies coming to Castely Rock. In whoevers banner coat of arms that did this. Also they killed Jamie as well. What do you guys think he would do? Do you think he would wait or act quickly? In what ways do you think he would act, and why? discusses

He would go to war, if he didn't fight for Aerys in the Rebellion anyway (which he would have done in these circumstances).

I never quite understood the reticence of the Dornish to fight the rebels. Yes, they sent 10,000 men to the Trident, but they could have sent more. Aegon was still the heir to the throne no matter what Rhaegar got up to with Lyanna. Aerys shouldn't have had too hard a job persuading them to fight for him if he promised to have Rhaegar set Lyanna aside at once. If he made a similar promise to Tywin in your scenario he'd probably have had the western armies backing him.

The Mountian wouldn't have done that, actually, even the rebellion might never had happened. If Cersei had married Rhaegar, Tywin would have kept his work as the Hand, and probably kept Aerys in check, and if it had happened anyways, Gregor would have been smashing Aery's head to a wall instead of Jaime doing the job...

If Cersei was Rhaegar's wife, Tywin would still have been hand. One of JonCon's chapters in ADWD covered what would have happened in that scenario: At Stoney Sept, Tywin would have surrounded the town, burned it, killed anyone who tried to escape, recovered Robert's bones in the morning, end of rebellion, no sack of KL. King Aerys might then have slipped and fallen off a parapet a few months later, if Tywin became convinced it were for the best, and Rhaegar would go on to show whether everyone was right or wrong about him being potentially a good king.
