-Ghost-
I've never wanted to read while I'm drunk. I have had a few beers while sitting at the table reading a few times though.
The Prince of Ice
I've never wanted to read while I'm drunk. I have had a few beers while sitting at the table reading a few times though. That would go under the category of buzzed reading not drunk reading then. The Faceless Wolf
Reading high makes me feel like I'm in the room while things happen but I miss a lot of stuff (I'm currently rereading for the first time and its almost like I never read the books, only summaries)

jrmmsu88
I originally read the Red Wedding portion after I'd been out at the bars. BAAAADDD Idea. Everything had happened by the time I realized what was going on. I guess that was kinda appropriate in retrospect since the northerners didn't either
Jabronius Maximus
I tried it before with asoiaf...wasn't pretty, kind of disorienting actually. Every time a new chapter came along, I was like 'WTF, where am I now??'. Turns out I missed reading the big, bold chapter titles each time lol. I wouldn't recommend it. A light buzz, maybe, but definitely not full on drunk.
