Chaldanya Posted June 28, 2013 Share Posted June 28, 2013 We've got a lot of well rounded readers on this forum and I'm hoping one of you may be able to help me out.The book that I'm thinking of is a YA book that I read about 20 years ago. The cover had a lot of foliage on the front and may or may not have been called simply EVE. The story was set in the near future and it was about a pre-teen girl called Eve who was in an horrific accident and was paralysed from the neck down. Due to new scientific developments the conciousness (or maybe brain) could be placed inside the body of a primate so that she could have a new body that worked even if it wasn't human. A majority of the book was spent exploring how she adapted to her new body and how her friends and family responded to her.Can anyone help me with the proper title and author? Ta.
