Oathkeeper and Widows wail

I believe Jaime named it Oathkeeper so he could live out his oath to Catelyn by giving it to Brienne, her also living out an oath. Widow's Wail was joffrey's name I believe, and I think it was just a sly reference to Cersei's reaction to his death, her being a widow of Robert.

Both swords are explicitly named in the text: Joffrey names Widow's Wail at the morning of his wedding, and Jaime asks Brienne to name the other sword Oathkeeper when he gifts it to her.

Widow's Wail seems to be a reference to Maggy the Frog's prophecy regarding Cersei living to see the deaths of her children. I wonder if the sword will have some part in Tommen's death.

Oathkeeper is the essence of Brienne and Jaime's story arc through AFfC, namely the restoration of Jaime's honor. The upcoming confrontation with Lady Stoneheart seems to be the culmination of that arc.
