ReekTheFreak
he dies and is resurrected? Would he be able to abandon his vows on this technicality?
Ghost's Shadow
I think there's quite a few threads about that already, and the only thing coming out of it is either people saying that he'd never leave, or that he would leave if he wanted/needed to.There's no straight answer for the question.PS: You're in the wrong forum. This is for a side book that's going to hopefully come out soon, and not for general discussion. ;)
BRANDON GREYSTARK
Death and resurrection I don't think end the watch ,only if the Wall no longer serves any purpose . Peace between the Others , the Wildlings and the Realm is the only way.
Jay21
I don't know if I would call it a technicality. Furthermore, if Jon is ressurected would the NW (if it survives the first chapters of TWOW) take him back? I think it will be more likely that the NW is decimated and Jon is one of the last men standing. Whether he is released from his vows or not, I can not see Jon moving south and settling down with a wife. So, it may be brought up that Jon has fulfilled his oaths, but he will continue on in some capacity regardless.
sj4iy
I agree, it's not a technicality. Death releases him from his vow and he would have to swear it again in order to become a man of the NW if that were to happen.
