Queen Alysanne™
I was wondering when you'll show up and mention this. ;)
Lady Fevre Dream
Yes, Roose is a good name. For the series though, it gives too much away though (Roose ~ ruse). Ned as a name is simply cool, I agree. Now apart from Arya if I had to choose a name from the series for myself, regardless of my character bias, I suppose it will be either Ned or Benjen. I like both these names.I do like the name Benjen, too. I love that both Roose and Ned seem to really fit with a THE in front of them, too. I will forever love the mountain clansmen for doing that, THE NED. Wow, I hope I don't sound like an idiot admitting this, but I never thought of Roose and ruse, maybe because of the way I pronounce the name. I pronounce the name to rhyme with Moose, with an American accent, maybe that makes a difference? I don't say the words Roose and ruse to sound all that much alike. sheofseidhr
It's good for a middle name. Dickon Meraxes Manwoody.LOL that could work.

Skeksi
I quite like names that end in "a"- maybe Asha.
